April 2, 2016 -CHICAGO- The Windy City Rollers, Chicago’s premiere roller derby league, will host their first home bout of the season Saturday April 2, at the Broadway Armory located at 5917 N. Broadway St, Chicago, IL, 60660.

 The A & B teams of the Windy City Rollers All-Stars and Second Wind, will be taking on the Brew City Bruisers of Milwaukee, WI.

The action starts at 6 p.m. as the Windy City Rollers’ Second Wind takes on the BrewCity Battlestars in a B-team showdown. The second bout of the night will feature the Windy City Rollers’ All-Stars and the BrewCity Bruisers at 7:30 p.m for a classic Midwestern matchup.

The Windy City Rollers’ much-anticipated 2016 travel season has been off to a strong start: Second Wind is coming in fresh off a 399-63 win against the Killamazoo Derby Dolls in Kalamazoo, MI.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance through Brown Paper Tickets (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2520815) or at Windycityrollers.com. Groups of 15 or more receive a 40% discount when all tickets are purchased together. Groups that purchase tickets by Sunday, March 27, will also receive a gift basket of WCR swag at the bout.
